The largest numbers of SA migrants
living in Auckland are in the suburbs of Point View (552), Awaruku (549)
and Howick Central (474). As a percentage of the total population for
those suburbs where most South African's live, Awaruku and Glamorgan have
the largest proportions with 15.35 percent and 12.35 percent respectively.
In Wellington, Endeavour (87), Discovery (84) and Churton (84) are the
suburbs where most South Africn's live. Endeavour (2.55 percent) and
Discovery (2.98 percent) also had the largest SA population expressed as a
proportion of the total population for each area. These numbers are
indicative of the relative distribution of South African's across suburbs
and based on the 2006 census.
