Living Costs

Perth appears to be more expensive to live in compared against the other 3 main cities. Out of 51 items in the ABS quarterly survey of grocery prices for selected food items, Perth recorded the highest price for 29 of those items compared against the next highest which is 10 for Melbourne. However, individual shopping baskets will determine the cost of monthly groceries in each location .
